Speedrack West, a leader in pallet rack and warehouse racking systems, has expanded to include conveyor system and conveyor products. The addition to the product catalog helps warehouses leverage their space more efficiently, move products quicker, reduce costs and lower the risks of accidents.

"Conveyor systems can truly change the way a warehouse functions, and revolutionize their productivity and safety," said Chris Jones, Vice President of Speedrack West. "We believe this addition will help our clients realize the full potential of their warehouse facilities, and we are thrilled to be a part of that."

Conveyor systems offer many benefits for warehouse facilities and impact every facet of their operation. When warehouses experience staffing shortages and discover challenges finding qualified forklift operators, conveyor systems can be implemented to reduce the need, and keep products moving efficiently.

Safety can be improved with conveyor systems, by limiting the amount of space used by forklifts and other moving equipment to key areas, like loading docks and bays. Employees can rely on conveyor systems to move products without heavy lifting, and risking physical injury from overexertion.

Efficiency and productivity are typically increased with the implementation of a conveyor system in a warehouse or similar facility. Increased throughput of products compared to forklifts or carts can boost productivity significantly. The use of floor space can be improved with conveyor systems, allowing for more storage and increased product capacity.

“Conveyor systems are a key way for warehouses to take the first step in automation, without a heavy investment,” according to Ron Comus, Conveyor System Sales Engineer for Speedrack West. “An investment in these types of systems can pay dividends for the life of the warehouse.”
